Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
The Shadowrocket Help Center is the official Shadowrocket website and manual. This policy covers website data handling when you read documentation, use site navigation or follow links to the App Store on rocket-help.com. It does not cover how the app operates on your device, server connections or purchase information handled by Apple.
1. Website features and data covered
This is a static content website. It has no user registration, account profiles or email submission features. You can read the guides without providing your name, contact details, payment information or Apple ID. Examples on the site explain how to use the app; visitors are not asked to upload their subscriptions, server details, configuration files or connection logs.
When you visit a page, the hosting environment may generate technical logs, such as the request time, page path, response status, IP address and device information provided by your browser. These data help deliver pages, troubleshoot access issues and maintain the site. Website visit records are separate from Shadowrocket configurations stored on your device. Browsing this site does not submit your on-device configurations to us.
2. Website analytics and how data is used
We use website analytics to understand how visitors read the documentation and use site navigation. Analytics may include page views, referring pages, browser and device categories, and events triggered when you choose to click an App Store button in a download guide. Button events record the link category and action name, not your store account, order details or payment outcome.
Analytics help us identify hard-to-find sections, broken links and mobile reading issues so we can improve the documentation. Referrer information and technical logs may contain data that could be linked to a visitor, so do not add subscription credentials or personal information to query parameters in site links. Analytics records are processed only as needed for these purposes and are not a way to access app connection data.
3. Cookies and local storage
The static page content, navigation and built-in expandable FAQs do not rely on login cookies. Whether website analytics use cookies, and how long any identifiers remain valid, depends on the deployment configuration. A static website does not necessarily mean your browser will never store analytics identifiers.
Your browser may also store page cache. If local storage is used to remember reading preferences or analytics state, that information stays in your current browser and is separate from app purchase records. You can use your browser settings to view, restrict or clear cookies, site data and cache. Clearing them may reset preferences or affect analytics recognition, but it does not affect purchases completed through the App Store.
4. App Store links and purchase information
Shadowrocket is available only on Apple platforms, and the App Store is the only place to get it: App Store product page. Apple operates that page. If you follow the link, Apple may process your account, device, payment and purchase records under its own policies. Purchases are subject to Apple's applicable terms and privacy policies. This website does not collect payment details or manage purchase accounts.
A one-time purchase of the app is not a service plan. This website does not provide network nodes or offer, sell or recommend subscriptions or server resources. The guides assume you already have your own subscription or server details. For information about data handled by the app, refer to the in-app disclosures; this website policy does not replace the privacy information for the app or services you use.
5. Policy updates and questions
If our website data practices change, we will revise the relevant sections on this page and update the month shown at the top. Any new data use will be described alongside the relevant feature. Changes to this policy do not affect how Apple handles App Store purchase information. Please review this policy again before using affected features.
For questions about reading or using the guides, start with the FAQs and user guide. When checking an issue, share only the interface details needed and avoid posting account information, full subscription URLs or other credentials in publicly accessible places. For purchases and restoring purchases, see Restore Purchases.
